Ingredients
  

  • For the Broth:
  • 4 cups chicken broth homemade or store-bought
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon miso paste
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • For the Chicken:
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • For the Garlic Sauce:
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • ½ teaspoon chili flakes optional
  • Toppings Optional but Highly Recommended:
  • Soft-boiled eggs
  • Sliced green onions
  • Nori seaweed
  • Toasted sesame seeds

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Preparing the Broth
  • In a large pot, combine the chicken broth, water, soy sauce, miso paste, sesame oil, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  • Bring to a simmer over medium heat and let it cook for 15 minutes to develop deep flavors.
  • Step 2: Cooking the Chicken
  • Season the chicken thighs or breasts with soy sauce, olive oil, and black pepper.
  • Heat a pan over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Reduce the heat, cover, and cook until fully cooked (about 10 minutes).
  • Remove from heat, let rest for a few minutes, then slice into thin strips.
  • Step 3: Making the Garlic Sauce
  • In a small pan, melt butter over low heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  • Stir in soy sauce, honey, and chili flakes, then remove from heat.
  • Step 4: Assembling the Ramen Bowl
  • Cook your ramen noodles according to the package instructions.
  • Divide the noodles into bowls and pour the hot broth over them.
  • Top with sliced chicken and drizzle with garlic sauce.
  • Add your favorite toppings like soft-boiled eggs, green onions, and seaweed.
