Ingredients
  

  • For the Broth:
  • 4 cups chicken broth homemade or store-bought
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon miso paste
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • For the Chicken:
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • For the Garlic Sauce:
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • ½ teaspoon chili flakes optional
  • Toppings Optional but Highly Recommended:
  • Soft-boiled eggs
  • Sliced green onions
  • Nori seaweed
  • Toasted sesame seeds

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preparing the Broth
  2. In a large pot, combine the chicken broth, water, soy sauce, miso paste, sesame oil, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and let it cook for 15 minutes to develop deep flavors.
  4. Step 2: Cooking the Chicken
  5. Season the chicken thighs or breasts with soy sauce, olive oil, and black pepper.
  6. Heat a pan over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side.
  7. Reduce the heat, cover, and cook until fully cooked (about 10 minutes).
  8. Remove from heat, let rest for a few minutes, then slice into thin strips.
  9. Step 3: Making the Garlic Sauce
  10. In a small pan, melt butter over low heat.
  11. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  12. Stir in soy sauce, honey, and chili flakes, then remove from heat.
  13. Step 4: Assembling the Ramen Bowl
  14. Cook your ramen noodles according to the package instructions.
  15. Divide the noodles into bowls and pour the hot broth over them.
  16. Top with sliced chicken and drizzle with garlic sauce.
  17. Add your favorite toppings like soft-boiled eggs, green onions, and seaweed.
