Parmesan Crusted Chicken

Ingredients
  

  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese freshly grated for best results
  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika adds color and depth
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter for frying
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced (fresh garlic gives the best flavor)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional, for a hint of spice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Sauté the Garlic
  • In the same skillet used for the chicken, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, stirring constantly until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic, as it can turn bitter.
  • Add the Cream and Seasoning
  • Slowly pour in the heavy cream while stirring.
  • Add the grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  • Stir continuously for about 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens and becomes smooth.
  • Finish the Sauce
  • Once the sauce reaches the desired creamy consistency, remove it from heat.
  • Stir in freshly chopped parsley for added flavor and color.
