Shrimp Scampi
- 1 lb shrimp medium or large, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- ½ cup dry white wine or chicken broth
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Wine brings acidity and depth. If you don’t cook with alcohol use broth instead.
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste

- 8 oz linguine or spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
